Greenwood

So we decided to look on google maps and find a greenspace area where we could fetch Harps.
We walked north on 1st until we hit 85th. Then we poked our heads into Mudbay - a dog/cat store that I really liked and which Tom could not have left quick enough.
Suddenly after that it's like you've hit a totally different Seattle. Very countrified for lack of a better word.

We found the park. It was nice. Big green grassy area, playground, and basketball court for Tom. Harper happily fetched the frisbee and lay in the shade. I could swear that this summer has added a year onto his life. He seems so much more sleepy and less active. Then again maybe he is still recovering from his hike in Ketchum, which while it was supposed to be about 10 miles, was probably 20 miles for him considering how much he ran forward and back on the trail.
We saw a crazy boxer dog jumping and leaping for a tennis ball.

We walked back along Greenwood Ave and Tom bought some coffee at a cute place called Green Bean. They incorporate lots of community stuff into the coffee place. We'll have to check out open mic night on Wednesday nights. There was also a Chinese place that has karoake EVERY night. Please please will someone come to that with me?

We are now vegging out trying to make a shopping list. Very exciting if I must say so myself.
Also we are deciding between a Sams Club membership and a Costco membership. Anyone have any thoughts on this???
